Warehouse Forklift Operator (1st Shift)

Atlas Molded Products is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the Washington, IA facility .

Warehouse Associate Primary Responsibilities

• General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment, operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
• Load or unload trucks either by hand, forklift, or by pallet jack.
• Maintains appropriate inventory of supplies and communicates with appropriate personnel to order replacement product as needed.
• Recognize and adhere to all best practices for safety (i.e. lock out/tag out, etc.).
• Must be able to operate forklift within the safety guidelines established by ACH and remain certified to do so.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.

Warehouse Associate Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment preferred.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with maintenance/mechanical systems preferred.

Warehouse Associate Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must be fluent in the English language, both written and spoken.
• Must be able to use simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools.

Warehouse Associate Education, Licenses & Certifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
