Our client is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join their team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be part of the Supply Chain department supporting various teams including Customer Service and Transportation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Location: Allentown, PA - Onsite

What's the Job?

  • Review and approve carrier invoices processed by outside 3rd party companies, resolving payment issues and invoice discrepancies.
  • Support the 3PL manager in coordinating materials ordering, receiving, and billing activities.
  • Assist in the maintenance of standard warehouse operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Fulfillment team to provide necessary support.
  • Participate in projects as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.

  • Experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in SAP and other relevant software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
