Adecco has partnered with an Aerospace company near Reno, NV to hire a full time direct hire Operations Planning Manager. About the Role: We're looking for a strategic and results-driven Operations Planning Manager to lead supply chain excellence by driving production planning, scheduling, and warehouse operations. You will play a pivotal role in achieving service, cost, and inventory objectives while fostering collaboration across key departments. As a key leader, you will develop and execute Supply, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) strategies to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: SIOP Strategy & Execution Develop and implement production and inventory plans aligned with business goals. Identify and mitigate risks related to service, cost, and inventory within SIOP and executional time horizons. Facilitate and lead SIOP and supply chain execution meetings to drive operational efficiency. Operational Leadership Lead production planning, scheduling, stockroom, and warehouse teams, ensuring seamless order-to-delivery execution. Provide strategic oversight and continuous improvement in planning, scheduling, and warehouse operations. Implement and optimize ERP, production scheduling, and warehouse management systems to improve efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Procurement, Supplier Quality, Production, Sales, and Engineering teams to enhance SIOP performance. Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Team Development & Growth Develop and mentor direct and indirect teams, driving functional excellence and individual growth. Promote a culture of continuous learning and process improvement. Safety & Compliance Ensure adherence to company policies and safety guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment. Report any safety concerns and implement corrective actions as needed. What You'll Bring: Core Competencies: Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to lead cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and project management abilities to drive data-driven decisions. Expertise in managing and measuring work, hiring, and developing talent. Action-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity. Demonstrated organizational agility and creative problem-solving skills. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical field). Master's degree . 10 years of experience in planning, procurement, forecasting, industrial engineering, or related operational fields. Hands-on experience with supply chain systems such as ERP, supply planning, demand planning, and warehouse management. Proven success in leading business process improvement and system implementation. Lean/Six Sigma and APICS certifications . Supervisory Responsibilities: Lead and manage production planning, scheduling, and warehouse operations teams.
