Position: Production Control Manager

Location: Latrobe, PA

Reports to: Owner/Sales Team

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Control Manager to join our team at GBC Advanced Materials LLC., As a leading manufacturer of technical ceramics components, we provide cutting edge solutions for various industries, including aerospace, electronics, medical, automotive, and more. In this role, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process and ensure our products are made with precision and care.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee production planning, scheduling, and coordination to meet customer demands and deadlines
* Conduct daily production meetings to align teams and assign tasks
* Manage inventory levels, monitor supply chain disruptions, and implement just-in-time inventory systems
* Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
* Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and quality assurance
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

* 2+ year of experience in production planning, operations management, or a related field (but we're open to fresh talent with a keen eye for process improvement!)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and six sigma methodologies is a plus
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
