Position:    Vice President, Supply Chain ManagementCompany:  Masco Contractor Services, division of Masco CorporationPosition Location:   Daytona Beach, FloridaCompany & Position SummaryMasco Contractor Services (MCS), a major business unit of Masco Corporation, a Fortune 200 company, is seeking to fill the position of Vice President, Supply Chain Management.  MCS, headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida, is the leading installer of home improvement and building products and a recognized authority in building science through its Environments For Living program.  This position has responsibility for the development and execution of its supply chain strategies and implementation of end-to-end process improvements in procurement, logistics, inventory management and distribution to ensure that all critical supply chain measures are met or surpassed (e.g., working capital improvement).  Responsibilities of this position include supply chain design, sourcing and procurement, logistics and transportation, inventory management, and warehousing and distribution.  The organization’s annual spend on materials, equipment, supplies, services, transportation and logistics exceeds $500 million today growing to $1billion in the next three years.  Principle Responsibilities The selected individual will have the responsibility to complete a strategic analysis of the organization’s supply chain function, identifying and implementing a long range strategy which will drive efficiencies and cost reductions across the business.  Other position responsibilities include:• Manages and oversee the organization’s supply chain including purchasing processes, inventory control methods, logistics and transportation systems, demand models, distribution and supplier delivery programs, and accounts payable models.• Working with the organization’s operations and functional groups, further develop the “shared services” supply chain organization that leverages the organization’s total buy, while establishing common processes, performance metrics, standards and a supplier quality program. • Refine the organization’s supply chain infrastructure incorporating policies, procedures and processes, ensuring they are maintained and adhered to in accordance with company quality systems, policies and guidelines. • Develop procurement, logistics and inventory management strategies, which meet quality requirements and optimize cost savings, delivery and services, and guarantee supply assurance. • Manage the organization’s spend in critical areas such as: logistics and transportation, equipment, fleet, professional services, field operations.  Work with cross functional teams, taking a lead role in negotiating key supply contracts. • Drive operational excellence and best practices across the organization’s supply chain network reducing cost by 7-10% per year.• Provide strategic leadership, subject matter expertise, and support for the supply chain design and improvement initiatives.  Includes the business unit’s adoption of new technology.• Ensure a system is in place that identifies and mitigates all types of supply chain risks. • Ensure there is a robust process in place to ensure the organization’s Supplier Business Practices policy is enforced.• Monitor core supply chain performance, including delivery against product and service level agreements and cost objectives. Position / Candidate RequirementsEducation:A Bachelor’s degree is required. A MBA or advanced degree is preferred.Work Experience:The successful candidate will need to have at least 15 years of well-rounded supply chain experience in progressively senior positions, a strategic business orientation, and a team-based management style.  This experience will have been gained in a diverse, national service organization of at least $500 million in spend, and within an organization noted for employing leading edge Supply Chain practices.
