Job Description : Conduct product maintainability and supportability assessments on Patriot Systems to support the International programs overseeing the Logistics Sustainment to include the review of Engineering Change Proposals, preparation, monitoring and updating hardware sweepdown phases. Typical responsibilities will include: - Oversee the review of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for logistics impacts and technical accuracy; - Prepare, monitor and update Patriot hardware sweep down schedules; - Provide technical and logistical assistance to the International customer and government; - Manage equipment audits to verify equipment configuration; - Review engineering data to assist with the periodic update of the Retrofit Visibility Guide; - Attend and brief Modification Work Order (MWO) planning government review; - Write and/or review Patriot Field Bulletins; - Provide interface between the International customer, government and engineering; - Provide coordination and guidance for the MWO program which includes engineering inputs, MWO kit inventory, personnel, equipment and location scheduling, and a schedule of upcoming MWO events. Required skills - Understanding of the operation and maintenance philosophy of the Patriot System - Understanding of the Patriot System maintenance concept, system deployment, transportation, and system emplacement - Good understanding of how ECPs impact fielded systems - Ability to read and understand Technical Drawings, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Investigation Requests (IRs), Patriot Field Reports (PFRs), Patriot Field Bulletins, and Change Notifications (CNs) - Knowledgeable in the use of the Patriot Technical manuals and associated equipment Technical Manuals - Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to coordinate activities and respond to inquiries from the customer and engineering - Knowledge of the US Army Supply System - Ability to travel within the US and abroad - Able to obtain a US Secret security clearance. - Minimum of 6 years related experience. Desired Skills - Experience writing logistics, deployment, retrofit and fielding plans - 8 years experience preferred - An active secret clearance is required to hold this position. At minimum, one must be elibible for a clearance and successfully obtain a company-requested DOD clearance. An existing, active secret clearance is preferred.
