Job Title: Customs & Logistics Specialist Company: GEAR For Sports Location: Lenexa, KS Description: GEAR For Sports has an opening for a Logistics & Customs Specialist. This position is responsible for daily Customs entry audits and reconciliation. The Specialist will communicate extensively with GFSI’s supply chain partners, origin offices and customs brokers to insure that the GFSI documented procedures are followed. Process variations must be addressed immediately to insure that GFSI is conducting business within the regulatory guidelines. One year of experience in the area of Customs Brokerage / Freight Forwarding or Import Compliance.  Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and must be able to work independently on multiple tasks involving various departments throughout GFSI Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
