This position is one of three non-supervisory Logistics Support Manager Positions in the Division of Logistics Support.  You will be responsible for the system-wide management and execution of several essential logistics support functions, including the ship logistics support overhaul program, emergent RRF ship support operations. MARAD shore-based spares management, Special Operations (Missile Defense Agency) ship support, Maritime Academy training vessels, and new RRF vessel acquisitions. You will also provide significant leadership and technical acumen to ensure that information technology programs of the RRF Management System (RMS) are efficiently and effectively implemented and managed.Drawing on significant training, knowledge and experience in logistics support management, you will be responsible for performing for the Division Chief the development and administration of integrated logistics support policy and programs required to ensure effective supply support management of Ready Reserve Force (RRF) and National Defense Reserve Fleet (NDRF)vessels.  You will also be responsible for the Division Chief and the RMS Program Manager for the planning and development of RMS system policies, programs, and business processes. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience evaluating the management of shipboard equipment support material by ship crews and logistics support contractor.  Also, the ideal candidate will have experience with the management of ship and warehouse logistics support inventories and data bases; the provisioning of installed equipment; material procurement and storage; inventory maintenance and accountability; and disposal of excess property. Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.
