Qualifications: Specialized Experience Requirements:  Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service.   Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled.  Specialized experience is described as: 1) Experience directing, developing, or performing logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a specified mission, or other designated program, and correlating those requirements with program plans to assure that the needed support is provided at the right time and place; 2) Experience planning, programming, budgeting and executing systems, processes, products, terminology, and guidance documents; 3)Performing life cycle cost analyses for programs and performing cost-benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected logistics programs and the coordination of the programs supported by these logistics operations; 3) Applying fact-finding and exploratory techniques and preparing and delivering statistical information and executive summaries; 4) Reviewing, analyzing and evaluating logistics techniques for programs and systems; 5) Developing, coordinating and implementing policies and procedures and coordinating and evaluating the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements and to develop and adjust plans and schedules for the actions needed to meet each requirement on time.
