Performs a variety of complicated tasks and enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ·         Provides program support to identify emergent relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes.·         Conducts reviews and analysis of existing policies and reports for program responsible systems and provides recommended revisions to the documentation.·         Responsible for input and verification of data.·         Reviews source documents for accuracy of input data.·         Generates, reviews, and distributes complex reports.·         Responsible for integrity of database information.·         Investigates questionable data and takes corrective action when necessary.·         Maintains files and other related documents.·         Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced personnel, and may have supervisory responsibilities.·         Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.  ·         Load, analyze, and manage technical data.·         Conduct logistics support analysis and develop acquisition support documentation for Organic Mine Countermeasure (OAMCM) applications.·         Develop technical data for fielding the Organic Airborne and Surface Sweep System (OASIS) aboard LCS and other platforms.·         Develop maintenance concepts, level of repair analyses, maintenance plans, maintenance procedures, operational procedures, provisioning, reliability centered maintenance (RCM) and technical manuals for OAMCM systems. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   Requires at least an associate's degree and 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Strong English written communication skills, Navy acquisition, T & E, technical data management for systems acquisition. Offboard systems development, testing, documentation, or fielding with a Navy MCM background. Demonstrated leadership experience in business environment. SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  Ability to research and convert requirements into technical documentation.  Thorough knowledge with Windows 98/2000/XP, MS Word or comparable word-processing software products and MS Office competency.  Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of technical research, writing, and editing.  Documentation experience for engineering projects and HTML.  Proven effective business development skills, including proposal development and preparation.  Demonstrates effective communication skills and knowledge of relevant U.S. Government regulations and standards. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
