Job Title: Inventory Control Supervisor Company: Location: Seattle, WA Description: United Natural Foods is the largest publicly traded wholesale distributor to the natural and organic foods industry. We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team of dedicated employees. ? Managing up to 15 employees on a daily basis. ? Ensure compliance with established UNFI West Region Inventory Control procedures & SOX Inventory Control processes, narratives, flowcharts and risk control matrix. ? Oversees; leading directing training and developing the inventory control team. ? Maintains effective control over the physical product flow, accounting of inventory for receiving, shipping and other inventory areas required and/or requested. ? Coordinate and Manage all daily & weekly reports and IC functions for WBS and RF systems. ? Provide clear direction to department lead. ? Prioritize workloads. ? Ability to communicate with a variety of audiences. ? Assist in training and mentoring. ? Assist with employee discipline. ? Control and minimize overtime. ? Identify employees? skills and develop them by coaching and counseling on a regular basis. ? Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives. ? Maintain harmony among workers and resolve personnel issues. ? Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers. ? Focus on safety and maintaining a safe warehouse. ? Inventory Control Supervisory experience of 3+ years is required ? Must be highly organized, able to multi-task and continually prioritize workload. ? Able to work under deadlines and possess strong time management skills. ? Self-motivated, strong problem solver with excellent analytical and great math skills. ? Must have a thorough understanding of Receiving, Shipping, RF and Inventory processes. ? Stocking, Order Selecting and Invoicing experience preferred ? RF and Western Business System experience beneficial; 1 year minimum preferred. ? Professional communication and representation of UNFI and its associates must be adhered to at all times. ? Must have good oral and written communication skills. ? Demonstrated leadership skills. ? Able to organize, coordinate, and direct team activities. ? Able to use all related maintenance equipment and computer applications. ? Must be able to work at heights of 26ft or higher on an order picker. ? Ability to use both hands and feet; lift items above shoulders; bend at the waist; and lift and carry 40lbs. continuously. ? Attentive to detail. ? Good communication and public relations skills. ? Able to operate PC and use Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel and Outlook.
