Responsible for supervising hourly employees and executing production and logistics plans and overall operations of assigned area/shift to include: warehouse, labor relations, production, site security, quality, safety and regulatory compliance. May act as incident commander on scheduled shift requiring advanced knowledge of operations, Lean Manufacturing, and plant compliances. 1. Responsible for directing and guiding operators and their activities for assigned area/shift in the execution of production and/or logistics plans. May be used as Maintenance Supervisor relief. May serve to advise supervisors regarding best practices, incident investigations, etc. 2 .May participate in the development and implementation of plans and policies to ensure compliance in all areas of responsibility. Operates production lines in accordance with FDA guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP/SQF program guidelines. 3. Responsible for team development of hourly employees to insure proper mixing, machining, packaging and logistics in assigned areas according to targeted specifications, to achieve total quality. Helps to develop new Operations Supervisors in all responsibilities and promote a positive attitude. 4. Responsible for problem solving process to resolve and/or mitigate those operational issues result in negative performance to plan as determined by the established escalation process. 5. Responsible for support of Lean Training as directed by Operations Manager for assigned area/shift. 6. Ensure adherence to all standard work processes, including K-LEAN processes. 7.
