Maintains and monitors finished goods inventories at distribution centers and assures and reports stock levels respectivelyExternal Responsibilities* Creates improvements to the inventory process in order to meet standards and drive efficiency by ensuring that proper communication and reporting of inventory by product, locations, cases on hand, and days on hand will initiate early notification of impending problems related to gain/shrink and aged product issues. * Reviews and audits compliance of field inventory physicals and cycle counts as necessary.* Manages the finished goods inventory by balancing process between SAP and the other various operational systems for sales and outside warehouses. * Reviews the root cause analysis of SAP Inventory Transaction Work Flows, creating corporate inventory standards and targets with metrics to support continuous improvement. Presents period metrics to Senior level Management.* Manages adjustments to SAP for inventory transactions to ensure the inventory is accurate and posts to the General Ledger.* Develops and drives metrics that focus on customer service and inventory efficiency to meet P&L targets by overseeing and managing working capital budgets.* Manages product allocations based upon customer service objective, product availability and customer prioritization.* Audits inventory transactions with comparison to corporate standards and manages assigned investigative analyses to lead efforts to provide the appropriate resolutions.* Develops processes and coordinates with management concerning aging inventory and subsequent sales plans. Supervises the analysis that provides the appropriate resolution to such inventory.* Oversees and establishes the development of standard tracking and reporting tools for automation by working with IT and Director of Supply Chain.* Manages inventory levels for a product’s given sales requirements and product line mix by analyzing planned vs. actual inventory levels, publishing substantial variances with reason coding, and coordinating with Sales Management and Manufacturing to optimize inventory levels.* Supervises the process that documents any failures that result in lost inventory, and reviews carrier, operations, and claims for inventory losses and/or damaged goods.External Requirements* Previous inventory control management in a manufacturing environment; soft drink industry preferred.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Strong organizational skills.

Foster/Maintain open communication with sales/route settlement. Report any short dated product to local sales and Plant Manager. Hire/Train/Develop inventory analysts. Review Day Supply reports for out of stock risks and communicate to Centralized Planning. Bachelor's Degree preferred. 1+ years general sales experience required. 2+ years sales and customer service specific experience preferred.
