Set goals for each employee to measure functional productivity. Develops & monitors budget targets for load optimization & delivery service requirements. Identifies, evaluates, & implements sourcing strategies & new potential terminals. Identifies & manages site specific projects. Identifies & implements network redesign & vendor changes to improve performance. Cooperates with sales field to identify & lead joint improvement efforts. Fosters relationships with key vendors/suppliers/customers; collaborates on CPI initiatives. Works on new customer set-ups & new accounts. Manages supplier performance. Works with Divisional management to audit customer sites. Meets service level agreements. Investigates & resolves customer complaints. Monitors & approves all detention. Investigates off-loading detention issues at customer sites. Identifies & improves inconsistent ordering patterns by account.
