Job Title: Customer Supply Chain Manager  Company: Force Protection Location: Ladson, SC Description: To perform forecasting, demand history analysis, scheduling, expediting and material status for aftermarket account. • Review sales requirements and product specifications to accurately determine material needs.• Plan and schedule material requirements with master scheduler and account manager to ensure on time customer delivery. • Monitor master schedule to ensure customer needs are met and provide feedback to account managers.• Coordinate movement of material throughout supply chain to ensure timely material delivery to customer.• Develop inventory stocking plan based on customer forecast and demand history analysis.• Release material plan requirements to functional areas (fabrication, production sub-assembly and paint).• Coordinate new material releases with account manager.• Track and report line item status to account managers for internal and customer review.• Coordinate direct vendor delivery with key business personnel to ensure customer deadlines are met.• Prioritize and expedite material requirements to ensure on time customer delivery.• Track and close configuration issues with functional areas to ensure on time customer delivery. • Requires a Bachelors degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or technical field. Minimum of 3 years experience in the planning / procurement of wheeled or tracked vehicles. In lieu of degree requirements a minimum of 5 years directly related experience may be considered. CPIM courses or certification may be considered. Additional experience with the military acquisition, fielding, or sustainment processes will also be considered.• A strong focus and discipline to process and process improvement is a must. • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the planning and production control field.• Must possess the experience and judgment to plan goals and develop recommendations for achieving them. • Must have: o A creative spirit with the ability to see the big picture and make adjustments as necessary. o A results-driven attitude with a track record for successful outcomes. o Experience working with governmental agencies will be considered a plus. o Have a prepared and organized work style with responsibility for providing current, day-to-day visibility into the operations of one or more accounts. o Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate objectives and develop recommendations for strategies. o Highly developed interpersonal skills are essential. • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. • Must be able to work weekends, overtime, holidays and any shift if required • As required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, Force Protection Industries, Inc. only employs individuals who prove their identity and legal authorization to work in the United States as required by that Act.Force Protection Industries, Inc. performs contracts for the United States Government with security requirements and manufactures items regulated under the International Traffic in Arms Regulation.
