Perform inventory cycle counts a minimum of every six (6) months. Prepare and release the assignment of merchandise amounts going to each store; print this information on store orders. Pull vendor returns from inventory and make the appropriate adjustments to vendor accounts. Investigate inventory that shows as available in the system but cannot be found in the distribution center and invalid/problem pallets; determine corrective action to be taken. Build pick boxes for high volume pick modules. Review the previous day’s adjustments to ensure inventory in the system is correct. Create and review inventory adjustment reports for distribution to the corporate office. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position directly supervises Inventory Control associates and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with our policies and applicable laws. Level of Responsibility: -Has responsibility for Supply Chain for Milton Roy Americas East -Accountable for budget, staffing, and/or business/operational results -Has other managers and/or senior individual contributors reporting in Bachelor(`9s degree in Management, Engineering, or related field required. MBA preferred.-A minimum of 5-10 years in Global, Sourcing, Materials Management/Logistics preferably with at least five years in a Strategic Sourcing role for a manufacturing firm. -3+ years of management experience is required. - Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Product Quality is a must. -Negotiation skills required. -Position requires 30% travel.
