The RLC will be responsible for representing Yellowbook to public agencies, associations, and customers both in-person and via alternate communication methods. Through their contact, they will identify recycling initiatives by market and maintain the integrity of the information within the recycling database. The RLC is accountable for making direct contact, in a variety of methods, to communities to communicate information including, but not limited to positively promoting Yellowbook's recycling efforts, provide upcoming delivery dates, introducing the local market manager and providing their contact information, detailing Yellowbook's opt out process, verifying recycling details. The RLC will advise the Distribution Field Managers on recycling initiatives and coordination of requests for recycling old telephone directories (OTD) as well as communicating any concerns that are determined during the community notification process or during the delivery of a market. Third party recycling vendors will work directly with the RLC to coordinate OTD recycling, education in regards to the recyclability of OTDs, and end users for OTDs.
