Job Description: The purpose of this position is to develop, plan, and implement Design Verification Plans (DVP&R) supporting product development. Primary Duties: 1. Work with program teams and vehicle engineers to establish goals and targets appropriate for program scope. 2. Develop and implement performance benchmarking plans in establishing product performance requirements. 3. Development and implement design verification plans responsive to product performance requirements and program objectives. 4. Manage logistical use of test articles to minimize both verification timing and the number of test articles required. 5. Provide inputs to and assist with management of the Technical Development and Vehicle Engineering (TDVE) budget at the product program level, reconciling resource demand, actuals, and allowable budget. 6. Report status, accomplishments, and issues of assigned verification plans. 7. Provide inputs to and assist with management of fixed Technical Development and Vehicle Engineering (TDVE) resources facilities, equipment, and vehicles across product programs to assure optimized use of existing assets. 8. Provide support for the continued development and improvement of the verification management process, supplying insights from program lessons-learned to refine the established process. At least 7 years Product Development Experience. Bachelors in Engineering or Business OR at least 6 years experience of engineering experience. At least 2 years experience with product development process associated with automotive/transportation industry. Effective teaming skills, proven ability to function effectively in a cross-functional team. Proven leadership skills, demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and drive to completion. Supervisory skills, ability to plan, assign, and assess work, develop subordinates, maintain productivity & job satisfaction. Ability to interface effectively with upper management levels. Basic understanding of truck applications and associated product requirements. Only US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residence Status will be considered for this position NOTE: Applicant must be presently authorized to work in the United States.
