Position Summary:  Perform limited aspects of logistics management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging and property utilization) related to depot, local, and other supply activities.  Work involves individual case problems and supply actions in consideration of program requirements, together with specific  variations in or from standardized guidelines.  Assignments require a good working knowledge of the Unit Level Logistics-Aviation (ULLS-A) supply system, L-3 Communications logistics policies, Nova Technology logistics policies nomenclature, work methods, and government property guidelines.  Assignments require a good working understanding of the needs of the Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne); and analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involve, to collect the necessary data, to established the facts, and to take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.   Essential functions:   Utilize ULLS-A to perform the supply support tasks of inventory management, procurement transactions, calibration, transportation, turn in, receiving, and shipping.   Order parts to establish or re-establish levels of stock required for inventory.   Receive incoming parts, checking for signs of damage or discrepancies in paperwork, ensuring proper parts are received, issue parts, reports damages and/or any discrepancies, and close PO when parts have been received. Ensure property accountability. Package and ship repair parts to vendors for repair. Assist with providing substitute part numbers where applicable for purchasing.   Requests quotes/RMA's prior to submitting purchase requests.   Provide customer service to site personnel. Maintain logistics records. Manages repairables and consumables and various other equipement. Turn in of parts that are declared scrap. Reports high priority concerns to Logistics Manager. Submit ProCard statement monthlyMinimum Qualifications:  Have a minimum of four years of demonstrated competence through satisfactory progressive performance in logistics. Minimum training includes graduation from a military logistics school or their equivalents.  Demonstrated competency and knowledge in the following areas: Federal Supply System, Unit Level Logistics System-Aviation, maintenance, inventory management, training device authorized stock list (ASL), PC database systems; support equipment calibration requirements; and shipping, handling, packaging, and storage requirements (including those for ESD). Have the physical ability to lift and handle light to medium weight materials.   Special Requirements:  Obtain or be eligible to obtain a DOD secret security clearance.
