Job Title: LOGISTICS ASSISTANT Company: ParexLahabra, Inc Location: Albuquerque, NM Description: Parex USA, Inc., a leading manufacturer of residential and commercial building products, has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Logistics Assistant to work at our Albuquerque, NM manufacturing plant. In this position, you will be providing support to our Western Regional Logistics Coordinator and to logistics activities relative to order shipments, product availability, and plant logistics issues. Other job duties/responsibilities will include: Carrying out the daily outbound shipment planCoordinating all stock transfers between locations in assigned regionScheduling delivery appointments as requiredInteracting with the Regional Logistics Coordinator to develop daily location load plansScheduling all non-dedicated shipments with outside carriersCoordinating manpower requirements with 3PL service providerMonitoring the daily performance of the 3PL service providerBeing the main interface with Customer Care on lead times, ready dates and inventoryAssisting with other related projects as required Our successful candidate will have H.S. diploma or GED; some college education would be desirable.
