Requirements: The Ideal candidate will have a min. of 3 years within the Freight Brokerage or Freight Forwarder Industry and have current customer relationships with brokerage opportunities. Candidate will be self driven and possess strong analytical and technical skills that can be used to produce creative solutions. Must be detail oriented, aggressive and have the ability to multi task and possess computer knowledge. High School Diploma required, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not needed. Job Title: Chief Operations Officer Company: Reliable Runners Location: Mentor, OH Description: At the direction of the President of the Company, the Employee will perform and discharge diligently, faithfully, loyally and in good faith the duties described herein that are customary or appropriate for the position of COO and such other duties as may be assigned to him from time to time by the President of the Company. Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures (including enforcement of such). Responsible for hiring, training, evaluating, delegating responsibilities, coaching and terminating employees to ensure the appropriate number of qualified, capable, motivated staff and equipment are in place. The position of COO is a salaried position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week and may regularly require 50, 60 or more hours per week.
