We are currently seeking a Warehouse Lead Person for our local Facility. This position is primarily responsible for all functions and activities within the warehouse of the facility. Responsibilities: What Will You Do? Work for an Industry Leading Company! Create and complete Plant transfers and ship confirmations for finished goods and miscellaneous items being shipped to customers and other plants. Inventory packaging, finished goods, and labels daily. Responsible for inventory of supplies required to run the warehouse and what is needed to run the production lines. Operates a forklift Have a Safety Conscious Attitude! Comply with company policies and procedures for safety and hygiene standards. Promote safety in all you do and encourage others to work safely as well. Maintain a clean work environment in order to keep yourself and others safe. Check safety devices before starting a machine, when applicable. Safety is a requirement while operating all forklifts and performing all general duties. Moving materials with forklifts and by hand and extremely important and must be performed in accordance with safety regulations. Be the Best You Can Be! Communicate with the Plant Manager to address any need for improvement in process, machinery, or other potential improvement areas you notice. Resolve process problems you are capable of fixing. Qualifications: Requirements High school diploma or the equivalent. Must be dependable and punctual. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must have basic math skills. Must have the ability to operator a forklift Must be of the ability to lead and direct others Must possess computer skills Preferred Skills/Attributes Knowledge of warehousing and inventory control Some college experience preferred What YOU Get in Return! ?
