Job Title: Purchasing/Warehouse manager Company: Location: Las Vegas, NV Description: China Grill Las Vegas and its affiliates Red Square, Red White & Blue and rumjungle are currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Food & Beverage Purchasing Manager. The Food and Beverage Purchasing Manager is responsible for performing all regional purchasing functions to support the restaurants. These functions include planning, requisition review, inquiry preparation and bid evaluation, supplier selection, negotiation of prices, terms and conditions of purchase, order award recommendations, placement and administration for assigned commodities and services not already determined by the Corporate Director of Purchasing. ? Solicits and evaluates bids, selects suppliers, negotiates prices, terms and conditions of non predetermined contracts. ? Reviews requisitions for accuracy and resolves inconsistencies. ? Develops adequate and qualified domestic and international sources of supply for assigned commodities. Promotes value analysis and vendor development activities to improve overall product quality and service and reduce costs. ? Analyzes and evaluates competitive proposals and recommends vendor selection and awards. Further proposes special contractual terms and conditions relative to purchase. ? Participates in the development of departmental procedures and practices. Helps to establish provisioning plans and schedules. ? Keeps informed of market conditions and prices for assigned commodities. Advises regional and local management teams of significant developments and recommends course of action. ? Establishes bid evaluation teams, chairs pre award meetings and coordinates the evaluation process with the relevant departments having input to the procurement decision. Provides guidance to team members to ensure that all aspects of a proposal are given proper consideration. ? Administers purchase orders and contracts on a timely basis and ensures that all contractual requirements are met by both the vendor and CGM. Ensures that the contracted prices and expiration dates are accurately reflected in the Quote files. ? Develops and maintains a working knowledge of international, federal, state and local laws and regulations affecting the procurement of assigned commodities. ? Maintains accurate, adequate and current records to support action taken on procurement projects as well as to satisfy internal and external auditing requirements. ?
