Responsible for all inventory control related functions including inventory counts, bar coding, scanning, etc. ? Establish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current. ? Inspect physical condition of warehouse, equipment and inventory. ? Ability to effectively communicate with warehouse staff and supervise ? Handling returned/damaged goods and administrative activities to ensure the customer requirements are met. ? Verifying the quantity and quality of all outbound shipments ? Effectively planning and organizing the timing of shipments in order to improve customer satisfaction ? Maintain inventory and location of warehousing equipment. ? Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing information and evaluating results to optimize production. ? Communicate shipment issues with appropriate individuals - quality, purchasing, vendors etc. ? Conduct weekly team meetings to ensure employees are educated on departmental issues and aware of the company?s goals and objectives. ?
