Logistics Analyst, Senior-01083705DescriptionKey Role:Serve as the technical and functional expert in all elements of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Logistics Engineering analysis. Develop product or systems life-cycle management strategies and plans, including Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP) by developing concepts, strategies, processes, and procedures to execute ILS in the acquisition and sustainment phases. Evaluate results of various logistics analyses, including Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) analysis, Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). Develop maintenance concepts and plans based on RCM and condition based maintenance studies. Develop supply support plans, including provisioning, spares analysis, and integrating new products into established or developing new supply chain management (SCM) systems involving inventory control, allocation, demand management, distribution processes, procedures, and information systems. Participate in and use Life-Cycle Cost (LCC), Total Ownership Cost (TOC), and Cost as an Independent Variable (CAIV) analyses to identify the appropriate logistics support concepts. Coordinate with NASA's center, program, and project logistics staff, functional integrated product teams involving both government, systems integrators, prime contractors, and supplier personnel to ensure program requirements are technically and economically achievable, meaningful, and measured with respect to operational suitability, testability, and supportability.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:-7+ years of experience with logistics, including logistics engineering, including Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) engineering involving maintenance, inventory management, supply chain management, distribution, or logistics information systems-Experience with developing, managing, supporting, or implementing acquisition or support contracts producing weapons and space systems and supporting or providing logistics and RAM services for fielded equipment-Experience with integrated product development and integrated product teams used in the acquisition or sustainment of weapons and space systems, components, and associated training, support, and test equipment-Experience with Integrated Logistics Support elements, including maintenance, supply, technical data, training, manpower, facilities, design interface, computer resources, support and test equipment, packaging, handling, storage, transportation, and configuration management-Ability to obtain a security clearance-BA or BS degreeAdditional Qualifications:-Experience with NASA logistics IT systems, NASA depot management and operations, and ICE and Windchill information management systems-Experience with developing or using mission need statements, capability requirements documents, operational requirements documents, and performance metrics-Experience with the DoD acquisition framework, integrated master schedules and milestones, and federal acquisition guidance, including MIL-PRF-49506, MIL-HDBK-502, DOD INST 5000.2, DODI 4140.1-R, and other applicable NASA and DoD acquisition, maintenance, and logistics instructions, policies, and processes-Knowledge of planning, developing, or applying ILS elements in support of development or sustainment of NASA and space systems, assets, and projects-Knowledge of NASA acquisition program management, including NASA's program management organization and horizontal and vertical integration principles-DAWIA and DAU Program Management or Acquisition Logistics Level II or III, SOLE CPL, PMI PMP, APICS CPIM, APICS, CSCP, or AST&L CTL CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Integrating the full range of consulting capabilities, Booz Allen is the one firm that helps clients solve their toughest problems, working by their side to help them achieve their missions.
