Job Title: Analyst, Distribution Company: Levi Strauss Location: Canton, MS Description: The purpose of this role is to research, analyze, design and develop the tracking and communication of product distribution transportation to assist the Retail Stores, Corporate Allocation, Merchandising, Distribution Centers 3PL Providers Transportation teams.Identify opportunities to improve utilization of existing infrastructure.Participate in root cause analysis to identify and resolve strategic supply-chain bottlenecks as it relates to meeting the goals of our Retail Stores division.Perform due diligence to develop business cases for initiatives to reduce costs and/or improve customer service to our retail stores.Act as Finance liaison in performing business analyses to support Annual and Strategic Business Planning and OPEX Budgeting.Provide each distribution transportation manager with the requirements to meet our retail objectives.Create, monitor report key metrics to track performance effectiveness of Logistics Division as it relates to Retail.Improve process to enhance accuracy of allocation estimates.Monitor react to Retail Divisional needs.Accountable for third-party delivery service and provider performance.Responsible for tracking communicating store allocations including new product in-store dates and new store initial flow.Attend participate in corporate meetings and report on logistics initiatives and key metrics.Make store visits and solicit feedback for improvement.Effectively work with retail, corporate logistics partners.
