The position represents and executes Supply Chain responsibilities within cross functional New Product Development (NPD) teams responsible for development through launch of new product initiatives including product/quality improvements and cost reductions.The Supply Chain Analyst (SCA) actively participates in weekly cross function team meetings, provides communication regarding part status, and supports development of NPD business cases and Project Change Authorization (PCA). The SCA also supports supply chain metrics and improvement priorities. This position resides within the Supply Chain department and reports to the Director of Demand Management which is responsible for sales forecast and supply chain new product development activities. The SCA is directly responsible for supply chain related activities but also plays a key role in supporting overall new product development, working with external suppliers and internal manufacturing locations to coordinate both component part and finished good launch activities.The Supply Chain Analyst will manage 10+ projects at different stages with varying sizes. Responsible for 150+ parts (components and/or finished goods) at any time. Tooling spend $1+ million annually. Open purchase order lines of 200+ at any time. Manages parts from business award through launch to support cross functional team success with on-time, on-budget, 95%+ delivery performance.Principle accountabilities would include but not limited to: Achieving shared NPD team goals launch date, start-up costs, contribution margin, delivery performance, quality, volume, feature set, reduce cycle time; Delivery 95%+ on-time delivery for finished goods, PPAP submissions, build ahead delivery;Cost maintain quoted costs on tooling and product, adhere to purchasing MOQ's and policies, E&O and air freight minimization; Improvement priority improve PPAP on-time submissions and reduce PPAP cycle time; Execute supply chain NPD project tasks on-time and on-budget; Purchase part responsibility of new parts from tool release to transition to production planning group.The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor degree preferably in business or related field with 5+ years experience within supply chain and / or new product development; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong analytical skills including the ability to develop and update large Microsoft Excel documents. Experience in managing many parts amongst multiple projects and related tasks while successfully achieving deadlines is a must. Ability to quickly learn and work within a variety of computer systems. Experience with Microsoft Access is a plus. The candidate must have a strong attention to detail, deadlines and hold self and others accountable.
