Physical work location is Ft. Hood, Texas. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Travel throughout CONUS and OCONUS sites in support of worldwide fielding requirements based on DA G8 and PM-HTV requirement documents. Maintain Data Bases in MS Excel and MS Word that depict detailed deprocessing progress for every vehicle/piece of equipment under control. Submits periodic reports to the HTV Fielding Manager with vehicle/equipment deprocessing status. Reports to the HTV Fielding Manager problem areas impacting vehicle/equipment deprocessing with courses of action to correct those deficiencies in a timely manner in order to meet Hand-Off Schedules. Works with other Original Equipment Manufacturers in work loading, establishing daily deprocessing tasks and completion. Maintains extensive vehicle/equipment records depicting CL IX parts required, their status and installation and QA records. These forms consist of Deprocessing Log Books, DA Form 2404's, DD250's, and Vehicle/equipment Log Books. Coordinates and works closely with Fielding Managers for sharing of joint areas in the wheel vehicle issue yard to include bay space, vehicle /equipment parking areas and component troubleshooting equipment and common tools. Ensures that OEM Manufacturers conducting deprocessing and or on-site modifications are logistically supported and that activities will be completed in a timely manner to support Hand off schedules. On day of Hand 0ff, stages vehicles/equipment at the Issue Yard. Assists and or conducts Hand-Off activities by orchestrating any required repairs and assisting the Unit's Soldiers in ensuring they conduct 10/20 Hand-Off Inspections IAW established Technical Manuals. Provides input to the Fielding Manager and Chief MFT in deprocessing issues. Works closely with OEM personnel for the wide spectrum of vehicle/equipment requiring deprocessing. Conduct other HTV activities as directed by the MFT Fielding Manager and the Chief MFT. REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field and 2 years of experience. In lieu of formal education, at least 10 years of progressive experience in a related field, preferably in maintenance or logistics of tactical wheeled vehicles. Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. Working knowledge of military tactical wheel systems and sub-systems. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Working knowledge of MS Office applications to include Word, Excel and Power Point. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and comfortable adapting to changing requirements. Ability to interface well with US Army and defense contractor customers.
