Job Title: Buyer - Intermediate Company: PDS Tech, Inc Location: Wichita, KS Description: Subcontracts Buyers:Participate in source selection process at proposal and execution phases, working with Supplier Development, Planning and Proposal Support Processes. Initiates Requests for Quotations and Proposals and receives same, analyzing proposed pricing from potential suppliers. In conjunction with Quality organization, evaluates and monitors supplier quality and reliability, as well as supplier ability to support required delivery schedules.Deploys material strategy, including issuing purchase orders and subcontracts. Manages performance of purchase orders or subcontracts, complies with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures, import/export regulations, and employs sound business practice as well as assesses supplier performance as part of follow up activities. Ensures that appropriate documentation is provided to logistics organization so that proper receipt is recorded.
