Job Title: Buyer-Operations/Logistics/Purchasing Company: Think Energy Group Location: Savannah, GA Description: The second largest food refiner in the industry is currently seeking a Buyer for it's Savannah, GA location. Job Title: Materials/Logistics Spec 2 (Buyer) Company: Siemens Location: Alpharetta, GA Description: Responsible for strategic supply chain working with international suppliers. Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental purchasing activities to fulfill orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products in a timely fashion. Buying, logistics, expediting, negotiating logistics agreements, etc. Assist all departments in developing and maintaining a high standard of in process quality with supply base. Develop plan, establish and refine processes and audit to meet or exceed the ISO9000 and 14001 requirements. Coordinate activities with all department managers to ensure customer satisfaction. Requirements: - Requires a BS or BA Degree in related discipline - Minimum 2 years + of progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing or related environment as a Buyer. - SAP experience is required, experience with purchasing modules - Experience with direct purchasing required - Experience working closely with other buyers and planners in a team environment - Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations -Demonstrated proactive communication skills with both peer level land upper management levels - Must be Proficient in Microsoft Office products including: Excel (required), Word, PowerPoint, etc.
