Job Title: Import/Export Buyer Company: EBSCO Industries Location: Fort Smith, AR Description: PRADCO Fishing a local leader in the outdoors fishing industry is looking for an experienced: Import Buyer/PlannerThis position will report to the Director of materials.  The position will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing finished products from overseas suppliers. This will require total management of all aspects for import suppliers to insure quality, delivery and cost of   goods.The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:Minimum 5 years experience in purchasing/sourcing globally finished goods from China and other counties.  Experience with import transportation from foreign counties and the cost and time requirements associated. Proficient with ERP,MRP software and general software applications.Willing to travel overseas.Ability to interact with all different personalities of individuals over multiple departments.Understanding and ability to communicate with internal and external entities in the areas of  Sales and Marketing, New Product Development, Engineering and  Quality.Must have good communication skills, bilingual very helpful.Ability to work unsupervised and is self-motivated.
