The Logistics Analyst II – International is responsible for effective coordination of international transportation activities while attaining Cost and Service objectives relating to OSI Transportation Operations. Develop and Maintain effective Global Supply Chain relationships (DCs, Business Units, Customer Service and Fulfillment) within OSRAM SYLVANIA. Assume active role in all related compliance activities and business system requirements.Position Requirements-Oversee routing of import shipments (FCL, LTL, Air). Track and coordinate International shipments to ensure timely and accurate flow of merchandise-Monitor International Carrier Performance (Cost and Service), and develop necessary plans for corrective actions involving Cycle Time, Cost, and EDI.-Compile accurate and timely Monthly Metrics on International Service and Cost-Evaluate International Supply Chain for cost reduction opportunities (Direct to DC import program) and work both within General Illumination and across OSRAM network to achieve.-Ensure accuracy of import carrier invoices, duties, and correct HTS classifications-Work closely with Distribution Centers and Carriers to identify equipment needs and monitor compliance. -Participate in Domestic Operations, Planning and Claims processing, as needed-Perform Supply Chain Analysis for OSRAM and Siemens Industry Inc projects-Self Starter with demonstrated ability to work independently-Bachelors Degree required, preferably in Logistics or related Business field. -Three to five years of progressive Transportation experience, preferably in a multi-national environment serving diverse market segments including retail, OEM, and wholesale distribution. -Knowledge of international transportation rate structures, ocean/air operations, and Supply Chain optimization techniques.-Exposure to all modes of transportation. -Familiarity with Inbound / Outbound movements from multiple manufacturing facilities within a multi DC distribution model.-Demonstrated ability to work within a Team structure and cross functional relationships-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.-In Depth working knowledge of SAP, Excel and AccessFor quick consideration apply here
