Job Title: Freight Broker Company: Location: Medford, OR Description: Local Freight Brokerage is adding to their sales team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years direct sales experience, ideally selling products or services in the 3rd Party Logistics industry. He/ she will have learned best practices in account planning, direct marketing, transactions selling and personal communications in a fast paced, customer service sales organization. Accordingly, he/ she must be a high energy self- starter, goal and achievement driven, team oriented and highly self motivated. Job Requirements: 1. Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and profit objectives 2. Follow up on sales prospects and current customers to assess their transportation needs 3. Establish rapport and build relationships with potential clients and implement new accounts 4. Provide rate quotes to customers for services 5. Relies on company resources, tools and support staff to maximize productivity 6. 1 year of truck or Freight Brokerage experience Preferred 7. Self directed, motivated and persistent in a sales environment 8. Successful experience in a sales environment 9. Bachelors degree preferred but not required Full commission sales position with top of the industry commission program offered. Full time position with benefit package including 401k, Health insurance and yearly vacation.
