We are seeking two possibly three new inside sales representatives. Experience in the truckload industry is not required however we are looking for a background in business to business sales. We will teach, train, and mentor you in the business of truckload brokerage.
Each sales person is directly responsible for the initial sales contact and business development of new clients. In addition each individual sales person is responsible for dispatching and monitoring on time service of each of his or her truckloads.
This is a commission based position, with an unlimited income potential. Sales commission is paid on a 50/50 split of the total earnings of a load. Commissions can rage from $15 to as much as $200, depending on the type of truckload, and the length of the haul. An average or typical commission is around $40. The following graph illustrates, and estimates potential earnings. Start earning commission almost immediately by taking advantage of “working” or brokering certain current in house national account truckloads. We want our new staff to be able to start generating an income as soon as possible, so we make certain existing national account business available to the entire staff. THE OPPORTUNITY Our client is seeking a Import/ Export Specialist who has experience with NAFTA and with the importation of industrial and commercial goods to the United States . They are seeking an Import/ Export Specialist who will be responsible for certification that the company’s products are in compliance with NAFTA and other trade agreements so that they can be sold to other countries. The Import/ Export Specialist will also manage the documentation that is provided to customers to allow them to take advantage of applicable trade programs and duty reductions. The Import/ Export Specialist will also facilitate and process all import transactions for the company. The Import/ Export Specialist will be responsible for managing the import process including the preparation and transmission of appropriate documents to US Customs. This position is located in Florida . RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Determine whether or not products qualify under NAFTA and other free trade agreements Prepare and issue the documentation to export goods under NAFTA and/ or other free trade agreements. Determine tariff classifications for products and/or raw materials Analyze shipping and export-related documentation received from external and internal sources for accuracy.
